I have modified this piece with 10 blue & green LED's because these units come from the factory much too dark, but are beautiful pieces that need to be bright & outstanding in a Christmas Village display. I have also modified the "barber style" poles at each side of the top of the front steps by removing the opaque gold knobs & replacing them with clear glass globes & lighting them with bright blue LED's that bring a whole new LED lighted effect to the entry way of the Tree Lot.

The photos do not nearly give a proper representation of how this piece looks in person. The difference of seeing this first hand is absolutely amazing. First of all, this is a working Lemax / Carole Towne Animated North Pole Tree Lot in great pre-owned condition that I have modified & comes with the original box, styrofoam enclosure, power adapter & "walking" figures. A quick word about me.

At this point in time, I have modified many Lemax Spooky Town Halloween buildings & I have also made this modification to 1 other North Pole Tree Lot (but reversing the locations of the blue & green LED's so it's not the same & has a different look), so doing this type of modification is not something that is new for me. Ok, back to the description of this piece.

The 2 sets of totally intact figures are included and they do "walk" around the large fiber optic Christmas tree in the center of the Tree Lot as they are supposed to. But this Tree Lot has been transformed into a stunning 1 of a kind piece. I have modified it by adding 6 (six) bright blue LED lights & 4 (four) bright green LED's for a total of 10 (ten). This is a wonderful unit to begin with but it was just too dark coming right from the factory and because of that it didn't standout as it should have when it was turned on and placed on display.

The LED's that I have installed are the EXACT ones that Lemax uses on all of its LED lit pieces and will perform the same way and will last for many many many did I say "many"? The added LED lighting actually makes the multi color lights - the string lights and the lights on the buildings - as well as the 2 fiber optic lit trees, standout more noticeably. This is just what this piece needed. If you have been looking for a VERY nice "Animated North Pole Tree Lot" look no further because this unit is stunningly beautiful & functional.

The original lights and the animation are working, as well as the great soundtrack which is completely volume controlled from silent to loud & clear by the on/off roller switch. This can also be operated using 2 "C" batteries (not included) or by using the INCLUDED power adapter.
