This CHURCH is a classic LAKKIE with it's Shiny finish. The LAKKIE style of buildings get their name because they are covered with a glossy finish Lacquered/shellacked.

LAKKIE is a shortened version of the word Lacquer. Years ago we couldn't figure out if someone was ruining the old vintage putz house by painting them. Then we figured out that this surface treatment was meant to look like the tin plate houses that the toy train hobbyist were using on their train layouts.

This openned up a whole new market for the 5 tall, 5.5 inch wide. The light hole is 1 in diameter. The doors and windows are all intact, some have been professionally replaced. You have to pay it directly with coupon.
